Ryan Simovitch, MD, built this West Palm Beach practice around one joint: the shoulder. His focus includes sports medicine, covering the injuries that bring active patients in, as well as the degenerative and traumatic problems that lead some patients toward shoulder replacement. He completed his orthopedic residency at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina, then trained further through the Harvard Intercontinental Shoulder Fellowship, dividing his time between the Harvard Shoulder Service at Massachusetts General Hospital and Uniklinik Balgrist in Zurich, Switzerland. That further shoulder-specific training shows up in the range of care offered here, from arthroscopy (shoulder surgery performed through small incisions with a camera) for rotator cuff and labral tears, to surgery for shoulder instability, to shoulder replacement, including anatomic, reverse, and computer-navigated approaches. Whether you are a patient with a new shoulder problem or a physician sending a patient for a shoulder-specific opinion, the information on this page reaches Dr. Simovitch's office directly. Dr. Simovitch is accepting new patients.
